Our Easter bonnet competition saw all our children and families put their artistic skills to the test. Entries were then judged by Chair of Iver Parish council Dr Wendy Matthews and Stafford Salt, before first and second place prizes were given out. The children then took part in an Easter egg hunt.

Music with Maple 19th Nov 2013

Each class enjoys an hour of music a week with a specialist music teacher, Mrs Bull. Here our Year one - maple class enjoying tuned percussion instruments. Maple class have been learning that these instruments produce a sound which has a pitch. Tuned percussion demotes the family of instruments which include the following: chime bar, glockenspiel, hand chime and xylophone. Maple class were working with melodies and harmonies, combing a pitched sound as well and improvising and composting their own music.

Road safety Week 18th Nov 2013

In celebration of Road Safety Week we had a visit from Brian from the children centre and Iver PSCO Phil Whitely. We were introduced to a range of road signs and were given instructions on how to follow the green cross code. We also practiced using the zebra crossing and looking at when it is safe to cross.
