New classmates - cheep cheep!

Our children welcomed some new classmates of the feathered variety to Iver Village Infants Academy in March.
All of our classes have been learning about how things grow – Reception have been planting and growing beans and Year 2 have been looking at the life cycle of humans and animals, including chicks.
What better way to bring these lessons to life than hatch some eggs? All classes got a chance to see the eggs, see them hatch and then take care of the chicks. All the children agreed that it made for an interesting – and cute! – lesson.
