If you are looking for a place for your child to join any year group at Iver Village Infant School, at any time during the school year, please contact the School Office. You will then need to fill in an online application form, available here. The school follows Buckinghamshire County Council's Admission Arrangements, viewable here.
Our Nursery class accommodates 26 - 3 and 4-year-old children for each session. We have two sessions a day 8.45am – 11.45 pm and 12.00am – 3.00pm. We also offer whole day provision from 8.45am - 3.00pm
If 3-year-old children are offered a place for their allocated 15 hours a week, they can start in the Nursery at the beginning of the term after their third birthday.
Admissions to the Nursery School should be made directly to the School Office, Iver Village Infant School and Nursery, Grange Way, Iver, Bucks, SL0 9HQ. You can obtain an admissions form from the office.
This is a school Nursery class and as such operates during term times only. Children who attend the Nursery do not automatically receive a place in Reception. Please telephone 01753655104 or email Nursery@iver-inf.bucks.sch.uk for further details.
15 and 30 Hours Free Childcare (2017)
We offer 30 hours childcare, the scheme aims to help families with 3 and/or 4-year-olds to start back into work or to extend their working pattern. Currently, all 3 and 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare a week. These changes extend the current 15 hours to 30 hours per week in total for working families. These changes are being introduced as part of the Childcare Act 2016. To see if you are eligible online, click here
Reception Admissions for September 2020
Parents are being urged to make sure they submit their applications on time for the best chance of getting one of their preferred primary schools for the September 2018 intake. The deadline to apply for those wishing to apply for a place at Iver Village Infant School is January 2018.
Families who have children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 (primary Reception) can make their application, and receive online support for the application process, on the Bucks school admissions website.
If parents wish to apply online and don’t have a computer at home, there are computers that are free to use at local libraries. Parents may contact their local adult and community learning centre to find out more about computer training courses. For applications to begin Reception in September 2020, the School follow will follow Buck's School Admissions Arrangements 2020/21 (new version not yet available - current version viewable here).
Places are allocated using criteria which include residence in the school's catchment area, distance from school and whether or not the child already has a sibling attending the school. More information can be obtained by contacting the Admissions Team at Bucks CC about your child’s chances of being allocated a place.
